The Nickels family has been involved in agricultural land management in Jefferson County, Kansas since the early 1900’s. Landowners have entrusted Nickels Farms to care for their investment for over 30 years. We provide resources to manage the seasonal needs of property to enhance the economic and recreational uses, as well as to achieve compliance with conditions and requirements of Kansas weed control laws, U.S. Department of Agriculture contracts and programs.

Nickels Farms services include native grass establishment and/or enhancement, CRP maintenance, forestry, wildlife habitat design and erosion remediation, weed control, pasture over-seeding, and land resource management. Much of the work we do is outside the range of tasks that a traditional cropland, cattle and hay operation.
